Hon. Baido felicitates Muslims on Eid ul Maulid, says Governor Kefas deserves second term
The Director-General of the 2027 Re-election Campaign Council for Governor Agbu Kefas, Hon. Danladi Baido, has congratulated Muslims in Taraba State on the celebration of Eid-ul-Maulid, urging them to emulate the virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in their daily lives.
In his Maulid message issued in Jalingo on Monday, Baido described the birth of the Prophet as a reminder for Muslims to practice love, tolerance, justice and selfless service to humanity.
“As we mark this sacred day, let us enhance good neighbourliness, be our brother’s keeper, promote love across communities, and check each other’s back. The Prophet taught us peace and unity, and that is what Taraba needs at this time,” he said.
With political activities for 2027 gathering momentum, Hon. Baido called on politicians and their supporters to conduct themselves with decorum and maturity.
“We must shun blackmail, thuggery and politics of bitterness. Let us do politics without hatred and promote good living. Taraba has suffered enough division. What we need now is issue-based politics that will unite us, not statements that will set us against one another,” he added.
The Campaign DG praised Governor Agbu Kefas for what he described as “unprecedented achievements” in the last three years, saying they form the basis for his re-election bid.
“Under Governor Kefas, we have seen massive investment in education with the declaration of free education, improved healthcare services, transformation in agriculture for food security, and notable gains in security across the state. These are not promises, they are results you can see,” Baido stated.
He urged all Taraba people, irrespective of religion or tribe, to come out in great numbers in 2027 to vote for Governor Kefas.
“For genuine leadership, continuity and progress, we must re-elect Governor Agbu Kefas back to Government House, Jalingo. He has started a foundation of development and we cannot afford to stop halfway,” he said.
He prayed that the blessings of Eid-ul-Maulid bring peace, prosperity and unity to all homes in Taraba State.
