David Mark talks tough: I won't step down, others will quit for me
David Mark talks tough
A former Senate President and a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirant, David Mark has denied reports that he will step down for Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State in the primary in Port Harcourt.
Mark in a statement Friday by his Media Assistant, Paul Mumeh, said he would remain the last man standing.
He bragged that other aspirants would step down for him.
According to the statement, his entry into the race was to get the party’s ticket, win the election and drive the agenda of uniting the nation, providing security and boosting the economy.
“My credentials and wealth of experience put me in a very good stead to win. I know other aspirants would step down and vote for me. I’m the aspirant to beat,” Mark stated.
