Gombe Governor, Inuwa Yahaya

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of Usman Abubakar Aliyu as Senior Special Assistant II (SSA II) on Sustainable Urban and Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (SURWASH).
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, stated that the appointment of Usman Aliyu is informed by his experience, commitment to service and loyalty, urging him to bring to bear, these qualities in the discharge of the duties of his new office.
This appointment, which takes immediate effect, demonstrates Governor Inuwa’s determination to ensure increase in access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene services as well as to strengthen the sector institutions for effective implementation of SURWASH programme in the state as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
