As part of commitment towards supporting the Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule’s second time bid supporters under the aegis of “Engineer Abdullahi Sule Amalgamated Support Groups” and other well-wishers have obtained the APC Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the cost of N50million.
Engineer Abdullahi Sule Amalgamated Support Groups, says the move was to ensure that the governor participate in the Governorship primary election scheduled for next month.
Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Murtala Lamus, the groups stormed the APC national secretariat in Abuja, Thursday to purchase the forms.
Lamus was accompanied by two senior special Assistants to the Governor on SDG’s and Abuja Liaison office Murtala Abubakar Muhammad and Yusuf Jibrin Maianguwa,however ststed that even though Governor Sule is yet to make any official declaration on his second term bid, they have to compel him to do so hence the decision to obtained the forms for him.
According to Murtala Lamus the Governor has perform creditably well that deserves the support of all and sundry to enable him continue with the good works he is doing for the overall development of the state.
National organizing secretary of APC Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, who received the delegation commended them for their show of love and support to Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Apex News Exclusivereports that apart from the opposition PDP in Nasarawa State, governor Abdullahi Sule is likely to be the only Governorship aspirant and as a seating governor.
This is so because earlier, stake holders from across the three senatorial district of the state had perfected plans and endorsed the governor as their sole candidate for the second time in office.
