Southern Kaduna PDP senatorial district candidate donates bags of rice

The Kaduna South Senatorial District candidate under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Sunday Marshal Katung (SMK) has distributed truck loads of rice to traditional institutions, political, religious and socio-cultural groups across the eight local government areas of the district.
Inaugurating the distribution exercise held in Zonkwa, headqaurters of Zangon Kataf local government area, the Committee Chairman for the distribution, Mr. John Bezard said the gesture was in the spirit of the Christmas festivities.

He explained that as a philanthropist, Katung will continue to put the interest of the less privileged at heart in spite of politics.
Responding separately, the coordinator for Sunday Marshal Katung, Kaura Local Government, Daniel Anyip and the Women Leader for SMK in Jema’a local government area, Nah Gambo thanked the PDP Senatorial Candidate for remembering his people especially the less privileges and prayed God to provide all that his heart desires.
They commended the gesture, adding that this is not the first time the candidate is supporting people in southern Kaduna at different capacity even before his aspiration to the senate.
Other beneficiaries who spoke to newsmen thanked and prayed that God will in 2023, give Nigerians the right leaders like SMK that will change the current hardship the ordinary man is facing for the better.
Items distributed includes 1,800 bags of 10 kg, 350 bags of 25 Kg, 250 bags of 50kg and cartoons of Maggi and soaps.
