Adamawa constitutes ALGON leadership

Adamawa State Government has constituted a new Leadership to run the affairs of the State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).
This was put in place after the inauguration of the 21 Council Chairmen who emerged winners during last weekend’s Council polls in the State.
Statement by Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor’s press secretary, said the chairman of Song, Gidado Aldulsalam emerged as the Chairman, Amos Drambi of Michika local government emerged as the Vice Chairman while Suleiman Ahmed Gangkuba of Toungo local government emerged Secretary of the association.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri after the inauguration congratulated the new leadership for the opportunity given them to serve their colleagues urged the forum to field in other positions available to enable them move the association forward and run with the vision of the Government in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Adamawa State.
Fintiri tasked the association to think outside the box towards making a difference in governance in the next two years.
