Adamawa Governor Fintiri constitutes committee on subsidy removal palliatives

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has constitute a 20- man committee in the distribution of palliatives aimed at cushioning the effects of fuel subsidy removal on the people in the state.
The state Palliatives Coordination and Distribution Committee comprise various Organisations, Agencies, Groups and Individuals who are to oversee the collection and distribution of palliatives to the people of Adamawa State.
Governor Fintiri stated this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Humwahshi Wonosikou.
According to the Governor, items slated for distribution in the first instance include mainly grains and foodstuff.
He said the high level palliatives committee shall be inaugurated this week at the Conference Hall Government House Yola and has the Secretary to the State Government Awwal D Tukur as Chairman.
Among other committee members include, HRH Amna Shelleng, HRM Hama Bachama, two Members of the National Assembly and two members of the state assembly.
