The All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA), reconciliation committee has concluded its report.
The committee presented the report to Governor Willie Obiano who is the Board of Trustee (BoT) Chairman of the party at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
The 10-man committee set up by the Governor and chaired by Dr Uju Okeke, was given two weeks to look into the matters.
Members of the committee included Mr Primus Odili, Chief Greg Obi, Mr. Confidence Azodo, Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye and Sir Norbert Obi.
Governor Obiano while appreciating the members of the committee for their methodology assured them of immediate implementation of the report.
The Governor noted that from the feeler he is getting from other States where APGA has presence, the reconciliation is moving fine, as the party has prospects of winning elections in those states.
He called on frayed minds to quell as he is deeply committed to carry everybody along in the spirit of the party mantra, to ensure resounding victory in future elections.
Presenting the report earlier, Dr (Mrs.) Okeke said that making peace was topmost in their minds while they conducted their findings, saying that they met with aggrieved political appointees, executives, aspirants and candidates where they advised them to go down to their wards to do the needful.
Recall that sequel to the party primaries, Governor Obiano set up the Committee on the eight day of this month to address the various issues arising from the primaries.
