Argungu International Fishing Festival on front burner, as Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Mera leads top delegation to Federal Ministry of Culture

The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Muhammad Samaila Mera is currently in a meeting with top officials of the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy to discuss modalities and synergy as the date for the hosting of the 2026 Argungu Fishing and Cultural Festival nears.

Others on the team are Senator Yahaya Abdullahi; National Organizing Secretary of the APC And former deputy governor of Kebbi state Alhaji Suleman Argungu and Alhaji Bello Dantani; Ambassador Usman Baraya Argungu, Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly represented by Mohammed Lawal Gele; Dr Peter Igho, Dan Jikan Kabi; the DG of the Argungu Fishing Festival Alhaji Safiyanu Bena and many other elders and community leaders of Argungu Emirate and Kebbi state as a whole.

At the end of the meeting, it is expected that the Festival will receive the attention it deserves and the best Festival will be organized for the benefit of the country.
