Commonwealth of Kentucky appoints Professor Busari Shamsuddeen Akande Director of Africa Operations

A Nigeria Professor and champion of financial education, Professor Asiwaju Shamsuddeen has been appointed the director of Africa operations of Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (CIM).

The Commonwealth of Kentucky United States of America made the appointment.

The registrar/secretary to council of the Institute, Dr Israel Henry, confirmed the promotion in a letter and certificate both dated 10th of March, 2021.

This is in recognition of his outstanding achievements and noteworthy performance in the education sector.

Akande, an international academic guru, hails from the Ilorin Emirate in Kwara State.

Professor Akande who was before the new promotion a Director of the Institute in West Africa is a professor of Business Finance, with broad practical knowledge in the fields of Business management , Accounting and Islamic Finance.

The management of the Institute, which specializes in training a world class Professional body in Management and Leadership Education, Ethics and Professionalism, communicated the Professor

Professor Akande is an alumni of the Religious Exempt American Trinity University California and an American and Australian Certified Management Accountant.

He is also a Canadian Chartered Business Administrator, a United Arab Emirates certified Islamic Finance Expert and Founder of the Premier Islamic Institute of Accounting and Finance in West Africa.

The Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership is an American professional body that seeks to develop managerial skills in employers and employees alike as well committed to helping managers achieve qualifications that would meet managerial standard all over the world.
