Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno

The Member representing Demsa State Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno, has denied allegation of her defection from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) describing it as baseless and mischievous.
The legislator who cleared the air in an interview in Yola, that she has no reason for defection.
She explained that she remains in PDP.
Mamuno described the rumours as fake and blatant lies originated from the pit of hell by some unscrupulous people aimed at trying to tarnish her integrity.
“These are political gimmicks that are spread by some disgruntles individuals that are not happy with the current development taking place in Demsa local government area as a result of my good representation.
“Also i want to in strong terms that for the avoidance of doubt, I am still in PDP and will continue to uplift the tenets of the party.
“I’m an ardent PDP loyalist and my relationship with all the stakeholders both at my local government and state is intact”, she added.
The lawmaker noted that those behind the rumour are some disgruntles and political apprentices seeking for relevance but having realized they cannot match her pedigree or withstand her in the election, resolved into cheap blackmail.
