Deputy Governor, Rector, Wukari Traditional Council mourn Atsi Kefas

Taraba State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali has condoled the Governor Agbu Kefas on the demise of his younger sister, Atsi.

Speaking during the condolence, Alhaji Alkali expressed deep sympathy for the family during this challenging period.

He acknowledged that death is an inevitable part of life but recognized the pain that accompanies such a loss and prayed to God to give the family the strength to bear it.

On its part, the Rector of Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, Dr. Amos Danlami Agbu described Atsi’s passing as shocking and prayed for the Lord, who is full of mercy to grant her eternal rest.

Agbu while sympathizing with Governor Agbu Kefas and entire family over Atsi’s unexpected death, prayed to God to comfort their mother and the entire family with the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.

The Rector added that on behalf of his management, staff and students encouraged the entire Kefas family to find solace in God Almighty who is the ultimate source of strength for those who mourn.

Also, the Wukari Traditional council, country home of Governor Kefas, has expressed its deepest sorrow over what it described as the “Sudden and untimely demise” of Atsi Kefas Atenwunu, a beloved daughter of the Bama Royal House and a cherished member of the Jukun community.

According to them, her demise was not only a profound loss to immediate family but also to the Jukun people and the entire Taraba State as a whole.

His Majesty, Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali Matakhitswen, the Aku-Uka of Wukari urged Governor Kefas, the Bama Royal House and all those mourning this devastating loss to take solace from above.

Recall that Atsi whose sudden death occurred last Monday following accidental discharge by police escort attached to their vehicle while traveling along Kente – Wukari road enroute Abuja.
