DG NDE pledges continues support for progress of Mada Development Association

The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Dr. Silas Ali Agara, has pledged to support the Mada Development Association (MDA) women wing.

This commitment was made during the unveiling of the maiden edition of the MDA national women wing magazine and wrappers at the 2024 national convention of the Association held in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.

Dr. Agara emphasized the importance of supporting the MDA women wing, urging all Mada elites to rally behind them.

He also assured the Association of his commitment to rally support towards the completion of their ongoing secretariat project.

Dr. Agara’s pledge is a significant boost to the MDA women wing, and his commitment to supporting their initiatives is a testament to the NDE’s dedication to empowering communities.

As the NDE continues to work towards creating jobs and promoting economic growth, its support for organizations like the MDA women wing is crucial in fostering sustainable development.

The event was attended by prominent Mada elites, including former Deputy Governor Chief John Michael Abdul, Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources Kwanta Yakubu, and Chairman Akwanga Local Government Council Safiyanu Isa Andaha.

Others are Senator John Danoyi, Senator Philip Aruwa Gyunka, the Chun Mada Pst Samson Gamu Yare, Chief of Gudi, Alhaji Bawa Sule and father of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The convention also featured cultural dances and a cultural parade by Mada women from different branches.
