Dr. Angya consoles with Sankera PDP over death of Ukum party chairman

The frontline 2023 governorship contender, Dr. Paul Angya was at Tse Kobo, Mbatiam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State to witness the burial of the Local Government Party Chairman, Late Hon. John Iorhen Aku who died at the age of 65.

In a statement made available to Apex News Exclusive signed by Tsar Clement, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication in the Angya campaign group, the former Director General of Standard Organization of Nigeria who arrived the venue amidst cheers from his teaming supporters, in his comments said, the late Aku’s exit has rob his family and the party of a loving and committed father and leader who has worked hard for the development and progress of his family and the party in the area.

Dr. Angya who was accompanied to the burial ceremony by his amiable wife and former Vice Chancellor of the Benue State University Makurdi, Professor Charity Angya used the opportunity to identify with the Senator representing Benue North East at the Senate, Dr. Gabriel Suswam; Member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/ Logo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Richard Gbande; Member representing Ukum at the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Thomas Mlanga; the Executive Chairman, Ukum Local Government Council, Hon. Steve Terwase Ayua; the Sankera Elders Forum, under the leadership of elder T.T. Zozo and indeed the entire Sankera people over the unfortunate and irreparable loss. Urging them to take solace in the fact that the late Iorhen was a faithful party man who put in his best for the progress of the party.

Others who accompanied Dr. Angya to the burial were his Zonal Coordinator for Zone A, Hon. Ben Kile; Coordinator for Ukum Local Government Area, Hon. Joseph Fakerga; Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication, Hon. Clement Tsar; former chairmanship aspirant for Logo Local Government Council, Hon. Festus Ugondo amongst others.
