Emir of Zuru felicitates with Argungu Emirate on Emir Mera’s 29th anniversary

Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami, Sami Gomo lll, has congratulated the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera, on his 29th anniversary of accession to the throne.
In a goodwill message signed by Abdullahi Idris Zuru, Sadaukin Zuru, the Emir felicitated with the council and people of Argungu on this milestone anniversary.
He noted that Argungu emirate and Kebbi State have gained international recognition under Emir Mera’s leadership.
Emir Sanusi further observed that Emir Mera has transformed the Argungu Annual Fishing and Cultural Festival into an international event, promoting agro-allied business and cultural heritage.
He praised Emir Mera’s purposeful leadership and its positive impact on the socio-economic life of the people.
Sami Gomo lll prayed for Emir Mera’s continued good health and wisdom, offering advice and support in his role.
Emir Mera succeeded his late father, Alhaji Muhammadu Mera, and was turbaned in 1994.
