Fidelis Anosike
The Federal Government has filed fresh criminal charges against the Anosike brothers before an FCT High Court over the acquisition of Daily Times Nigeria (DTN) Plc.
In the charge with number CR/222/18 filed by Festus Keyamo (SAN), Fidelis Anosike, Noel Anosike and Folio Communications Ltd were accused of sundry criminal allegations.
Keyamo said the following allegations were filed against the defendants upon new investigation into the company’s acquisition in 2004: conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, criminal misappropriation and cheating by personation.
Other allegations are: Forgery, theft of funds and property belonging to DTN PLC and obtaining money by false pretence from Senator Ikechukwu Obiora and Harlesdeen Engineering Ltd within the periods of 2004, 2005, 2012, 2017 and 2018. No date has been fixed for hearing. (Daily Trust)
