Former SSG salutes Kebbi Governor Idris over indelible marks in sands of history

A former Secretary to Kebbi State Government, Babale Umar Yauri, has called for more support to Governor Nasir Idris Administration as it was working hard to further develope the state despite the scarce resources at its disposal amidst competing demands.
He made the call while speaking to newsmen at his residence in Birnin Kebbi, noting that the Governor’s style of leadership was a total departure from the past where fewer projects of little or no relevance to communities were rolled out for political gains.
The politician said the present Kebbi State Government always designed and execute projects to the people tailored to their needs, yearnings and aspirations because of its bottom to top policies in governance, showcasing further its open door approach in leadership.
He said the move to stop illegal mining activities in the Southern parts of the State was wise policy aimed at identifying potential investors that would not only bring continuous revenues to the economy but would as well provide corporate social responsibilities projects to communities affected by the mining activities.
The Ex-SSG noted that Governor Idris had been humble in his governance by taking Agricultural activities with seriousness when he provided free fertilizers, solar and CNG powered irrigation pumps to farmers for maximum food production in the state being a pivot for societal growth.
Yauri said as Nigeria turned 64 years as an Independent nation, Kebbi as a thirty three year old community was proud to have the finest leader in person of Comrade Nasir Idris in the history of its existence and would definitely leave indelible marks in the sands of history.
He, therefore appealed to the electorate to reciprocate the kind gesture by giving the Governor the mandate to have an an uninterrupted eight years of stewardship to consolidate on the ongoing developments spread across the length and breadth of the state.
