Former Vice President Atiku visits former President Buhari, condoles emirs of Daura, Katsina

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, arrived Katsina Saturday and paid a visit to the former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura.
Atiku was upon his arrival welcomed and accompanied by the Katsina State Governor, Mal Umar Dikko Radda at the Malam Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport.
Alhaji Atiku drove straight to Daura to pay homage to the former President Buhari and a condolence visit to the Emir of Daura, His Royal Highness Alhaji Umar Faruq Umar.
While in Daura, he made a condolence visit to the family of late Alhaji Lawal Kaita on the demise of his wife.
From Daura, he stopped in Katsina to also pay a condolence visit to His Royal Highness Alhaji Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman, the Emir of Katsina, on the death of his son, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulmuminu.

The former presidential candidate of the PDP, also expressed his gratitude upon his arrival and the reception shown to him and his delegation by Governor Radda, even though they are not from the same party.
Among his delegation were Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, former secretary to Katsina state government, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa. The Chairman, Katsina State Marketers Union, Alh Sani Hamisu, and Senator Umar Ibrahim Tsauri among others.
