The Acting General Officer Commanding, (GOC), 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Brigadier-General Bulama Biu, has charged troops deployed to Operation Last Hold, to adhere strictly to the rules of engagement in duties in the counter terrorism campaign.
Biu, who gave the advice when he addressed soldiers at Jimtillo in Maiduguri on Sunday, urged them to put in their best toward ending the Boko Haram insurgency.
He advised them to be focused and shun any acts that would distract them from attaining their objective.
The commander said he was in the camp to motivate troops and expressed delight with their morale.
He said a lot had been achieved by troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE on ground and urged them to maintain the momentum. (NAN)
