Gombe Governor Yahaya approves appointment of Ahmed as GO-CARES new Coordinator

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of Mallam Haruna Ahmed Imam as the new State Coordinator of the Gombe State Community Action Resilience and Economic Stimulus (GO-CARES).

A Press Release signed by the Director General Press Affairs Government House Gombe, Ismaila Uba Missili, the approval indicated that the Governor’s approval was conveyed by the Secretary to the State Governor Prof.Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.

The statement further contained that the appointment which is meant to strengthen governance and drive development across the state is with effect from 10th January 2025.

Imam is expected to bring his vast wealth of experience to bear so as to advance the administration’s quest to deliver good governance and promote Economic Resilience.

Until his appointment as the State Coordinator, GO-CARES, Imam has been serving as the General Manager, Gombe State Agency for Community and Social Development (CSDA), one of the Delivery platforms of the Go-CARES programme.

As he resumes office as directed by the Governor, it is expected that activities will be more invigorated in the Agency which is one of the main drivers of development in the state.
