Governor Kefas constitutes committee to appraise activities of Taraba Water, Sanitation Company

Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas has constituted a Committee to Study and appraise the activities of the Taraba Water and Sanitation Company, (TAWASCO)
to determine its ability to provide adequate water in Jalingo, the state capital and environs.
The committee as Mr Yakubu Maikasuwa, SAN, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice as Chairman.

Members of the committee are, Engineer Naomi Tanko Agbu, Commissioner for Energy and Economic Development,
Comrade Julius Peter, Commissioner for Rural and Urban Development, Dr Sarah Enoch Adi, Commissioner Finance,
Mr Daniel Ishaku, Commissioner for Water Management and Aquatic and
Mrs. Patricia R. Danna, Principal Secretary, Career Management as Secretary.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor,bMr. Yusuf Sanda says the Terms of Reference of the Committee are
to Consider the revenue inflow of the Agency and its self sustainability, advice on full or partial commercialization prospect as well as proffer any suggestion that will ensure seamless provision of portable water in the state capital and environs.

The committee has two weeks to submit its report.
