As part of the empowerment drive, 1,500 youth and women from the 23 wards of the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency each received N100,000, amounting to a total of N150 million.

In addition, Hon. Amos’ third annual medical outreach provided free services, with 900 individuals receiving eye surgeries, 2,000 people fitted with glasses, and 700 more undergoing other minor surgeries.

Recall that during the celebration of his one year in office four months ago, Hon. Amos donated N500,000 for businesses grant to each of the 60 beneficiaries.

In his speech, Hon. Amos, Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on House Services, emphasized his commitment to healthcare and economic empowerment.

Reflecting on his journey, Amos stated, “Leadership is not just a title; it is a responsibility and a trust bestowed upon me by my people to serve and uplift our communities.”

He recounted the struggles many constituents face in accessing basic healthcare and reiterated his determination to provide inclusive, quality medical services.

The Member also highlighted the significance of the Empowerment Grant, aimed at supporting individuals in agriculture, small businesses, and crafts. By providing essential business skills training alongside financial support, he envisions creating economic resilience within the community.

“With good health and empowerment, our people can fully engage in the workforce, education, and entrepreneurial activities that will fuel our local economy,” he added.

The newly commissioned constituency office in Kafanchan will serve as a center for constituents to voice their concerns and seek assistance.

“Through this office, I pledge to be more accessible, transparent, and accountable to my constituents,” he said, pledging to continue advocating for projects that enhance health, education, and infrastructure in the area.

The free medical outreach, in its third edition, was held at centers in Kagoma, Kafanchan, Gidan Waya, Fadan Karshi, and Gwantu, reaching diverse participants across tribes, religions, and political backgrounds.
