How Anambra Bishop survived heart surgery in India

The founder and Senior Pastor of Chapel of Faith Bible Assembly International, Bishop Emeka Nwankpa, has narrated how he miraculously escaped the surgical knives of heart doctors in India where he was flown early this year for heart operation.
Bishop Nwankpa made this known in his testimony at Umukala, Ntigha, Isiala-Ngwa in Abia State during a thanksgiving service attended by the representative of the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate in November 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State,Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu.
Nwankpa who is the Patron of Ikemba Front,an APC support group in Anambra State said the narration of his ordeal that on arrival in India the doctors told him that he had 20 percent chances of survival.
The President of Bishop Nwankpa Foundation said he was given papers to sign in preparation for the surgery Foundation but he went into prayer reminding God : ” sux thousand widows, he was taking care of, the over 200 students on his scholarship list and many who depended on me fir their daily survival”.
He continued: “I challenged God with my earthly responsibilities and like Hezekiah, the good Lord reversed my situation and restored my health” as the doctors could not see the heart problem during the last rounds of examinations before moving him to theatre for operation.
Bishop Nwankpa said the doctors surprisely informed him that there was no need for surgery anymore as the latest result showed that his heart was like that of a little baby.
The Bishop said he had in March 25, this year done the thanksgiving in Onitsha, Anambra State at the headquarters of his church before the latest one in his home town to appreciate God among his own people who would have gathered like this they gathered in the thanksgiving if he had died.
Sir Arinze Awogu, the National Coordinator of Ikemba Front who represented the APC governorship candidate, Prince Ukachukwu, at the event thanked God for the healing of the servant of God saying : “God’s mercy is without conditions and urged christians to be strengthened by Bishop Nwankpa’s testimony of God’s intervention.Miracles have not stopped. God is still in the business of doing good for his people”.
The thanksgiving attracted a lot of prominent people including the Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency (represented), Hon. Ugochukwu Collins Iheonunekwu, Member, representing Isiala-Ngwa North State Constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, Abia State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Digital Economy and National Executives and members of Ikemba Front led by Sir Awogu.
