How another Katsina poly lecturer was abducted taking ransom for colleague

In a bid to rescue a colleague from kidnappers by taking ransom to abductors, another lecturer of Hassan Usman Polytechnic, Katsina, Bashir Ruwangodiya, has also been held.
Ruwangodiya is of the Department of Mass Communication and chairman, coalition of civil society in Katsina State.
The kidnappers had a day earlier held Dr. Bello Birchi at his country home Tashar Bara’u in Kurfi Local government had demanded ransom for his release.
But, while Ruwangodiya taking the “undisclosed” ransom after a negotiation was reached, was however held back by the abductors and demanded for another ransom from their new victim.
Chairman, Senior Staff Association at the polytechnic, Comrade Mansur Garba confirmed the incident but the Katsina State Police Command was yet to speak on the matter.
