Two second half goals by Richard Jonathan in the 58 minute and John Chukwudi in the 76 minute was all the warriors needed to down the airforce team to enhance it march towards promotion to the NPFL.
The warriors had to contain the initial bombardment of the NAF FC who tried to dominate the opening minutes of the NNL A1encounter.
The more experienced warriors checked all their attack to settle the game.
Elkanemi had to settle and organize themselves to balance attacks from both sides.

The host made two deadly attacks that were checked by the combination of Monday Mathew Daniel, Baba Kura, Shehu and Jonathan to end the first half goalless.
The second half of the game saw a more composed warriors that scored two goals in the second half.
What would have been the warriors opportunity for the third goal of the match was Mujeeb Odufeso’s one on one dribble with NAF goalkeeper who brought him down in the area for the center referee to award a corner kick.
The warriors dominate possession with passes to maintain the scoreline.
At the blast of the final whistle supporters of the host team encroached field to attack the center referee for awarding the second goal. The attackers pounced on the referee from different directions making it difficult for the few policemen to control the situation.
