The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has inaugurated the newly constructed ultra-modern Police Headquarters Complex for Adamawa State Police Command.

At the inauguration ceremony, IGP Egbetokun commended the officers and personnel of the command, emphasizing that the state-of-the-art facility is a testament to their dedication and service to the nation.

Egbetokun described the edifice as a befitting structure for the command’s brave officers and a symbol of the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to justice and security.

His words, “This headquarters is more than just a physical structure; it represents our unwavering dedication to protecting and serving our communities. We remain committed to equipping our officers with the necessary skills, knowledge, and logistics to perform their duties effectively.”

The Nigerian Police boss expressed gratitude to stakeholders, community leaders, and partners who contributed to the success of the project, urging continued collaboration to enhance security and peace in Adamawa State.

Speaking earlier in a remark, Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, welcomed the IGP and hailed the new complex as a milestone achievement for the command.

He noted that the headquarters addresses long-standing challenges of office accommodation and was completed under his administration.

He also praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his unwavering support in security matters.
