Nigeria’s entertainment stars, Ini Edo, Wizkid, Gordons, and Mayorkun have been selected for the 2018 Peace Achievers Awards.
They were chosen alongside former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State and Information Minister Lai Mohammed, among others, for this year’s edition of the award to take place on September 22 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, Project Director of Peace Ambassador Agency, organizers of the annual awards, said that it is important to give accolades to philanthropists and individuals who have made tremendous efforts to impact on the society.
The event distinguishes outstanding personalities in the country who have contributed enormously to the peace and unity in Nigeria through their selfless efforts.(Daily Trust)
