He prayed to God to give Nigerians the spirit of tolerance so that to see themselves as brothers that are determined to bring positive change in the country.
He said, “tolerance and living in peace with one another is our source of strength and a solution to our challenges. We urged all Nigerians to pray and give us their maximum support for the success of the 10th National Assembly. I believed that, together with my colleagues at the Green Chamber under the leadership of our Distinguished Speaker, Alhaji Tajuddeen Abbas (Iyan Zazzau), we are going to sponsor bills for the betterment of the all. We are not going to fail Nigerians,” he said.
The lawmaker, who called on the Nigerian Muslims, especially those participating this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia to redouble their prayers for the country, also urges all Nigerians irrespective of tribal and religious affiliation to use this opportunity to pray for the country
He assured the people of Jema’a/Sanga constituency of his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and urged them to put aside all prejudices in order to sustain peace, unity and progress.
“This celebration is to commemorate the trials and triumph of Abraham. So as we celebrate, I sincerely believe that we can make a rapid progress on all fronts if we re-enact the exemplary virtues, typified by Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim), through his sacrifice, patience, steadfastness, generosity and obedience to God’s command,” he added.
