The Kaduna State Government has imposed a curfew on Kwaru and Ungwan Yero communities in Kaduna-North Local Government following a clash leading to the death of two youths.
The curfew is from 7: pm to 7: am.
Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai visited the families of the two youths who were killed during the clash and assured them that the security agencies have been directed to thoroughly investigate the killings, and to prosecute those involved.
He appealed to the residents to reject division in the name of religion or ethnicity, and to uphold harmony in the area.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Governor Barnabas Yusuf Bala and senior government officials.
