Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, is attending the Dinner Session of the 31st Nigerian Economic Summit (NES #31), holding at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
The dinner, themed “Investing in Innovative Food Systems Solutions in Challenging Contexts,” is part of the ongoing national summit centered on “The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030.”
As Nigeria navigates a complex economic and geopolitical landscape, NES #31 serves as a vital platform for policy dialogue, collaboration, and reflection among government leaders, private sector players, and development partners.
The summit, which runs from October 6 to 8, 2025, aims to chart a unified national agenda that drives inclusive growth, economic resilience, and sustainable reforms.
Since its inception in 1993, the Nigerian Economic Summit has become the nation’s foremost forum for institutionalized public-private dialogue on economic development and reform policy.
Jointly organized by the Federal Government and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), it continues to shape Nigeria’s reform agenda, strengthen policy coordination, and deepen private sector participation in national development.
Governor Radda participation underscores his administration’s unwavering commitment to engaging in national policy platforms that promote innovation, inclusive growth, and sustainable development for Katsina State and the nation at large.
Among the dignitaries present at the dinner were the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, and Emir of Kano, His Highness Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Mohammed Hayatudeen, Former MD of defunct FSB international Bank alongside other top economic stakeholders.
