Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State ascents to the 2024 budget estimates

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has signed into law the 2024 budget of N250.1billion with assurances that due process would be followed in its implementation.
While commending the state Assembly for speedy passage of the budget, Governor Idris, saying the gesture would give his Government the chance to concentrate in the construction of people oriented projects.
Speaking earlier, the Speaker State House of Assembly, Mohammed Usman Ankwai said the speedy passage of the budget by the house was informed by the seriousness Governor Idris showed in the rapid development of the state in all sectors of the economy.
At a different programme in Birnin Kebbi, the governor presented 26 official vehicles to the state commissioners with a warning on every recipient to always be with the members of his community with a view to gathering their complaints for onward delivery to the state government for prompt actions.
The Governor also, donated 730 motorcycles to the state vigilante group to enhance security in the state.
The State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Dutsinmari, thanked the governor for providing the state executive council members with official vehicles to enable them discharge their responsibilities effectively.
