Kebbi Governor Idris condolences Katsina counterpart Radda over death of mother

Comrade Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has condoled with the Government and people of Katsina State over the death of Hajiya Safara’u Umar, the mother of Governor Umar Dikko Radda of Katsina State.
In a condolence message signed by the Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy Abdullahi Idris Sadaukin Zuru, Governor Idris expressed his heart felt condolences on the demise of “a caring mother, a distinguished community leader and a reliable guardian who spent substantial part of her life in service to God and humanity as well as nurturing persons identified to have exemplary track record of high morality and discipline.”
He declared that the great loss was not only painful to the family, relatives, associates and loved ones but to the entire country in view of the calibre of people she selflessly and properly trained and believed to have made valuable contributions to unity, peaceful coexistence,l and development in Nigeria.”
To the Governor Radda, also the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) North West Governors forum, who the Comrade Governor described as “a resourceful team player and supportive colleague” urged him “to be consoled by the unmeasurable sacrifice and resilience exhibited by our beloved mother in ensuring peace and harmonious relationship among the various ethnic communities, particularly in Northern Nigeria.”
On behalf of the government and the people of Kebbi, Comrade Idris extended heart-felt condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Katsina state. He prayed to Allah to grant her eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
Hajiya Safara’u Umar died at the age of 93 years in the early hours of Sunday.
