President Bola Tinubu has been commended for choosing Professor Ali Pate as one of the ministerial nominees presented to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
The commendation was made by a Bauchi based political commentator, Idris Mohammed (Sarkin Yaki) who opined that considering his wealth of experience in the health sector coupled with his international connection, the country’s health sector will become robust.
He was speaking to a selected group of Journalists on Sunday to express his appreciation to the nomination which he described as well deserving and commendable considering the person of Ali Pate.
According to him, “It is people like Ali Pate who should be appointed to hold political offices in the country because they have the required connections and experience. Ali Pate is a renowned health expert who will deploy his wealth of experience to better the health sector.”
He added that,”If eventually he is given the health Ministry, he will do everything possible to ensure that Nigerians get quality healthcare service delivery considering his relationship with all the health organisations across the world.”
Idris Mohammed Sarkin Yaki added that the people of Bauchi State will have an effective representation through him in the Federal Exclusive Council because of his connection with the people being a grassroots politician.
He stressed that apart from being a renowned medical practitioner, Ali Pate is a grassroots politician who has made positive impact in the political scene of Bauchi State having contested for the gubernatorial primary elections in the state on three different occasions.
The political commentator expressed confidence that Ali Pate will not let the people of the state down as he will perform much more than what he did as Minister of State for Health previously.
He however called on the people of the state to rally behind the nomination of Ali Pate in appreciation for what President Bola Tinubu has done for the state.
