The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), under the leadership of its National Clerk, Ambassador Hope Daniel Vyonku, has officially commended His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas (PhD), for his remarkable strides in educational reform within Taraba State. In a joint press release in Jalingo, State capital yesterday, the student body expressed gratitude for the governor’s dedicated efforts to improve the educational landscape, highlighting the significant increase in student participation since the launch of his reform initiatives.
The release also applauds the recent advancements in power supply within student communities, notably through the introduction of solar lighting projects. These initiatives have played a crucial role in enhancing the learning environment, ensuring students have better access to reliable light sources, an essential factor in supporting academic success.
NANS further extends its appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Economic Development, Dr. Naomi Tanko Agbu, for her outstanding commitment to integrating sustainable power solutions that bolster education across the state. The Commissioner’s proactive role in providing consistent electricity aligns with the broader vision of fostering a thriving educational system in Taraba.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Ambassador Hope Daniel Vyonku conveyed a strong vote of confidence in both Dr. Agbu Kefas and Dr. Naomi Tanko Agbu, recognizing their leadership and support as pivotal to the ongoing progress in the state’s education sector.
Moreover, the student association declared its readiness to stand firmly with Governor Agbu Kefas, regardless of the political platform, to advance the welfare and development of Taraba State.
