Nasarawa 2023: Work for Governor Sule, APC to succeed – Gajere urges panda stakeholders

The Special Adviser to the Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule on Urban Development Board, Samuel Akala Gajere, has tasked All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders of Panda Development Area on the need to work towards sustaining the party at the grassroots.
He stated this while presiding over a meeting with APC Executive and stakeholders Panda-Kare electoral ward held in Panda, the headquarters of the development area, Sunday.
The meeting between the special adviser and APC stakeholders of Panda-Kare electoral ward was not unconnected with the forthcoming primary election of the party, with a view of finding ways to enhance peaceful exercise.
Gajere said the purpose of the meeting was to thank the people of Panda-Kare electoral ward for rallying round policies and programmes of APC-led administration in the state under the stewardship of Governor Sule.
He urged them to continue supporting the Governor in order to extend his developmental strides to the area particularly that of Gitata-Panda Road which the Governor has promised to award contract.
Gajere who is the immediate past Chairman of Karu Local Government Area, enjoined delegates to cooperate and speak with one voice to enable them elect candidates that will bring transformation to state and the party.
He admonished politicians against politics of backbiting and blackmail but engage on issue-based campaign for the smooth conduct of the primaries.
He then charged people of Panda-Kare who do not have voter cards to get registered to enable them exercise their franchise in the next year’s general election, and called on them to tolerate one another irrespective of their differences for development to thrive.
Earlier, the APC chairman of Panda-Kare electoral ward, Alhaji Basiru Uba, the councillor representing the area, Christopher Bako and Bawa Rabo, commended Gajere for convening the meeting which according to them will unite members of the party and advised them on the need to respect leaders at all levels.
Some APC stakeholders and party excos described the meeting as success and promised to respect the resolution reached for progress of the party.
Samuel Akala Gajere also inspected the uncomplicated mosque in Panda that was built by his administration when he was the chairman of Karu local government area, where prayers were offered for the peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups in the area.
