Nasarawa United FC, Lafia: 20 days of solid preseason action

The Solid Miners, in preparation for the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League Season, embarked on a nearly one month preseason tour across Northern Nigeria, with the tour leading them to Abuja, Kaduna and Jos(Plateau State) respectively.

The purpose of the tour was to enable the team enjoy some quite moments, as well as to enable the coaching staff assess the readiness of both old and new players and fine-tune them for the new league campaign.

Across the span of twenty days, Nasarawa United played a total of fifteen (15) matches, five of which were in the maiden Abuja Unity Cup Pre-season Tournament where they emerged runners-up after narrowly losing 0-1 to Plateau United in the final on 7th November, 2021, at the Area 3 Football Pitch, Garki, Abuja, scoring thirty-one(31) goals while conceding fourteen(14), that’s +17 Goals advantage.

Of the total number of games played, United won eleven(11), drew two(2) and lost two(2).
