NDLEA Bauchi boss warns against drug abuse in rally to mark World Drug Day

The Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Bauchi State Command, Saidu S. Mohammed has admonished youths to shun any form of drug abuse which is harmful to human health.
The NDLEA Boss in the state gave the caution today at a rally event organised by the Command to mark world drug day commemorated 26th June of every year.
According to him, June 26th of every year which is tomorrow Sunday is set aside across the gkobe to strengten action and operation in achieving world free of dug abuse.
He said Bauchi Command organised the rally to join the other states in Nigeria and the entire world in raising awareness of the major problems that illicit drugs pose to the society
Saidu Mohammed added that they are doing every thing within their power to address the concern of illicit drug intake in the state urging other stakeholders including the media to join the fight as it is a collective War.
The Theme of 2022 world drug day is, “Addressing challenges in health and humanitarian crisis”.
He further submitted that the Command is strategising and restrategising to bring the situation of drug abuse umder check in the state.
