PDP: High Chief Ikimi heads disciplinary committee, Prince Oyinlola leads reconciliation committee ahead of Wednesday inauguration

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is to inaugurate its National Reconciliation and Disciplinary Committees on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
This followed the approval of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Working Committee (NWC).
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the committees will be inaugurated at the National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall, National Secretariat, Abuja at 12 noon.
High Chief Tom Ikimi is the chairman of the National Disciplinary Committee. Members are H.E. Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, Chief Olabode George, CON (BoT), Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheen (BoT), H.E. Sen. Dr. Sam Egwu (BoT), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje (BoT), Chief Maxwell Okudo (BoT), Senator Effiong Bob, Senator Abdullahi Idris Umar, Senator Olaka Nwogu, Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, General Aminu Bande (Rtd), Alhaji Mohammed Imam, Hon. Chile Igbawua and Mahe Dange.
Others are Hon. Patrick Ifon (BoT), Barrister Tahir A. Shehu, Amb. Nuhu A. Bajoga (BoT), Hon. Emmanuel Ibeshi, Haj. Zainab Maina (BoT) , Chief Mrs. Aduke Maina (Fmr. BoT), Barrister P.G.U. Madu, Abiodun Abdul Rahim and Representative of Bayelsa State.
Barrister Jacob Otorkpa is to serve as Administrative Secretary while Eyitayo Jegede, SAN is the Secretary.
For the National Reconciliation Committee, H.E. Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola is the Chairman.

The former Governor of Gombe State, H.E. Sen. Ibrahim Dankwambo is to serve as Member/Secretary while Chief Anicho Okoro is the Administrative Secretary.
“The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the PDP to remain focused and committed to the vision, principles and aspiration of our great Party in the overall interest of the growth, development and stability of the PDP and the nation,” the statement added.
