President Tinubu needs more years to be judged – Adamawa APC chieftain

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Adamawa State says Nigerians should allow President Bola Tinubu one more chance to be judged as a year cannot be a true test of his performance.

Hamisu Medugu made the call in  a familiarization call on Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) correspondents’ chapel in Yola that in a very little while Mr president will soon perform his true test of governance.

The APC bigwig pleaded with Nigerians to support Tinibus’ administration of despite the hardships being experienced shall soon be things of the past when identifies the hurdles.

Medugu is one time senatorial aspirants in Adamawa Northern zone, saying one year is not enough to quantify a success of a four year administration, President Tinubu will make Nigeria a country to be remembered in the next three years.

He noted that he will change the economy despite the fuel subsidy removal and other hardships, Nigeria will be better in future and will rescued the naira from an all time free fall.

“The president has done very well in taming the free fall of the naira against the dollar which at that time was galloping towards N2,000. He succeeded in reining on the dollar and normalized the naira. I’m optimistic the president will restore the value of the naira to the time he assumed office and even improve on it,” he said.

The APC stalwart noted that, “The president is also carrying out some projects in the country including the construction of the Lagos – Calabar coastal expressway. This and many other projects will very soon put Nigeria on the path”.

And that the President in reversing the social insecurity bedeviling the land urging Nigerians to also exercise patient with the administration as it is doing its best to address all hurdles.
