Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State and the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Forum has described President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a catalyst for Nigeria’s wealth growth and socioeconomic transformation.
While addressing the APC stakeholders meeting in Birnin Kebbi Governor Uzodinma said the reforms introduced by the present administration under the leadership President Tinubu were people oriented, adding, “Mr President’s reform is geared towards reconstructing, rehabilitating, and rebuilding a new Nigeria.”
The chairman observed that President Tinubu had ordered the inclusion of 1,000 youths from each of the 8,809 INEC words, to serve as a pathway to eradicating poverty across Nigeria, especially at the grassroots level.
He said in the next few years, “these selected 1,000 artisans from each political word will become employers of labour, by this, poverty is drastically reduced.”
In his speech, the Chief Host and Governor of Kebbi State, Dr Nasir Idris, described the meeting as very fruitful and successful.
”I have been saying that Kebbi is an APC state and the state belongs to President Bola Tinubu. We are happy to state that the state is blessed with good leaders who remained committed to assisting people.
”We will continue to work for our people. By the grace of God, the good projects being executed by President Bola Tinubu will be doubled, we will beg him to add more and more projects to Kebbi,” he pledged
Idris urged the people of the state to sustain their loyalty to APC at all levels by ensuring its victory in the 2027 general elections.
