Senator Lalong mourns Miskoom Thaddeus Shaldas, elder brother to Long Gamai

The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has received with shock the demise of Miskoom Thaddeus Shaldas, (Suman) the elder brother to the Long Gamai of Gamailand HRH Miskoom Martin Shaldas III who died at the age of 72.

Until his demise, he was the District Head of Shendam A and former Commissioner of Agriculture and Rural Development Plateau State in 2007.

This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.

While expressing his deep sorrow and condolences to his Royal Highness the Long Gamai Miskoom Martin Shaldas III and his traditional council, Senator Lalong described the demise of Miskoom Thaddeus Shaldas as a big loss to the Gamai nation, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

He said the deceased was an embodiment of humility, kindness and hardwork who always stood for truth and justice.

Lalong recalled that the late Miskoom Thaddeus served the State diligently and contributed to the agricultural development of Plateau State during his tenure as Commissioner for Agriculture.

The Senator urged his immediate family, the people of Shendam and the entire Gamailand to be consoled over this huge loss by reflecting on his legacies and good name which will be remembered for many years to come.

He also prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and forgive his sins.
