Hundreds of students of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, (ATBU), Bauchi, took to the streets to protest over lack of amenities on campus.
The students protested on Friday at the Yelwa Campus of the institution. The amenities in contention included power and water.
The students were to begin the first semester examinations Friday.
It was gathered the protesting students complained their hostels were without electricity and water for weeks.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the University, Zailani Bappah said a new transformer will soon be installed to address the power.
