Their benefits would linger for several years and some would even die waiting for their entitlements. Those who survived would either end up with stroke or depression.” The Commissioner revealed.

He however went further to say “things have changed positively with the coming into office of Governor Nasir Idris. He had settled the backlog of unpaid entitlements. What we do now in the Ministry is to pay every retiree his entitlements the month he leaves service, but must have completed necessary documentation.”

The Commissioner said within few months in office the state capital had witnessed quantum infrastructural transformation while farmers and the public were showered with farm inputs and implements as well as associated foodstuff for stomach infrastructure, describing the gestures commendable.

Garkuwan Kaura therefore called on the people of the state irrespective of political, ethnic and religious affiliations to support the unrivaled developmental projects of Governor Nasir Idris in order to take the state to higher heights of development as well as join hands in celebrating his one year in office.
