Governor of Taraba State, Architect Darius Dickson Ishaku has promised the determination of his administration to give succour to members of the immediate families of soldiers of the 93 Battalion who were killed in a recent military operation against militants tormenting communities in Takum.
In an emotion-ladden voice, Ishaku expressed his sympathy and that of the Taraba State government to the family members made up of their widows and children.
He said he personally feels their pains and promised that Government will take steps to assist them, particularly the children who will have to go to school.
He announced a cash gift of N10 millon to provide them immediate succour and promised that the government would do more to assist them.
Governor Ishaku renewed his call on the people of the state to pray for the save return of the commanding officer of the Battalion who was declared missing after the operation.
