Governor Darius Ishaku

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of Taraba State has congratulated Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el filtr being celebrated globally.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan Abu praised Muslims for the discipline and sacrifice they exhibited throughout the holy month of Ramadan and prayed Allah to accept their Ibadat.
Governor Darius Ishaku assures Muslims in the state and indeed Tarabans that the welfare of the people remain the priority of his administration and that everything would be done to create and sustain the desired ambience of peace for them to pursue their legitimate activities.
The statement condemned the recent bomb explosions in the state and expressed sympathy with those who loss their relations and those who sustained injuries.
It urges the people to be vigilant and to remain steadfast in their prayers for Allah to expose and punish those behind the evil against innocent people.
Governor Darius Ishaku solicited for the support and full participation of the people in the political transition process that has already begun in the state and the country at large to ensure the election of the right calibre of leaders for the state and the country.
The Governor wishes the Muslim Ummah a peaceful Eid el ftr celebrations.
