Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has provided new brand vehicles to First to Third traditional rulers in the state to enhance their activities as custodians of the culture and tradition of their people as well as ease their movements.
The Governor provided new brand Prado jeeps to First Class chiefs, Second Class chiefs got JAC pick-up vans while the Third Class chiefs received new band High Class Highlander jeeps.
Shortly after assuming office, Governor Kefas approved free medical treatment for traditional rulers in the state where many of them were sent abroad for proper medical check-ups and treatment.
As a sign for his regard for traditional institutions in the state, the Governor recently led traditional rulers on project inspection visits to Takum and Kashimbilla where he assured that he will continue to carry them along in all his developmental policies, programmes and all activities in the state.

This gestures will no doubt aid the traditional institution to perform its functions effectively thereby complementing government efforts in maintaining peace across the state and
by giving prominence to traditional institutions more than any other administration in the past and by paying their monthly allowances as at when due.
Governor Kefas also extended similar gestures to some prominent and critical stakeholders who contributed significantly to the development of the state which restored confidence in governance just within the eight months of his administration.
