Hon Danladi Baido popularly referred to as Ubangayya

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Taraba State in the 2023 election, Hon. Danladi Baido has proved the matured politician that he is by congratulating Lt.-Col. Agbu Kefas of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who was sworn in as Governor on Monday, May 29, 2023.
Hon. Baido who represents Karim Lamido/Lau/ Ardo Kola Federal Constituency of Taraba State in the House of Representatives also attended the inauguration in Jalingo.
Hon. Baido had contested and lost to Lt.-Col. Kefas in the March 18, 2023 polls.
In a congratulatory statement, Hon. Baido reminded the Governor to fulfill his campaign promises to the people.

Congratulations Your Excellency, Lt.-Col. Agbu Kefas (rtd) on your inauguration as Taraba State Governor
I heartily congratulate you, Lt.-Col. Agbu Kefas (rtd) on the occasion of your inauguration as the Governor of Taraba State on May 29, 2023.
It is indeed a thing of joy on the landmark swearing-in as all Taraba people look forward to a fruitful administration as the government is no longer that of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in which election was won but for all.
In this vein, I urge all the people of the state cutting across ethnic or religious divide to set aside their differences and give the administration the needed support to achieve its aims and objectives.
On the other hand, Taraba people look forward to favourable policies in all sectors by the new administration that would be beneficial to all especially improving the economy of the state thereby alleviating the suffering of the people.
Besides, I implore the new administration will keep to its campaign promises especially in the area of security, employment and provision of infrastructure among others.
Once again, I congratulate Governor Agbu Kefas on his inauguration and wish him a rewarding tenure.
