Taraba SDP governorship candidate, Hon. Baido urges priority for the girl-child

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Taraba State, Hon. Danladi Baido said the needs of the girl-child should be a priority to all.
He explained that parents should also give precedence to the female-child like the males.
Hon. Baido make the remark on the occasion of the International Day of the Girl-Child.
In a statement by his Special Assistant, Media, Anthony Maliki, the governorship candidate pointed out that negative cultural attachments to the girl-child that deprive them from attaining their potentials should be discarded.
He said all rights and privileges in the society should be given the girl-child and not to be discriminated in any way.
Hon. Baido urged all sectors of the society to support the growth and aspirations of the girl-child to attain their potentials.
