The outgone Director General of Tinubu Support Group, (TSG) Honourable Umar Ibrahim Mohamed has urged the group to continue supporting his successor, Dr Umar Tanko Yakasai for the success of the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
The outgone DG who is now the Director General of Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency, (NIHSA) told Journalists at the reunion organized by the Group in Abuja.
According to him, “I enjoyed the support of different movements all across the country towards the success of TSG and that of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, (APC) at the 2023 general elections.
“I am appealing for the same or even more support for the new DG, Dr Yakasai in the oncoming general elections in 2027 for the success of President Tinubu, his Vice President Kashim Shettima and other candidates of the party,” he said.
The DG of NIHSA said that he has known Dr Yakasai to have come from the family of renown politician, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, who has been groomed both as a medical doctor and politician who deserves support to succeed.
Hon Umar Ibrahim Mohamed said that he will always participate in the activities of the TSG as a stakeholder.
He, however thanks the Founder of TSG, Right Honourable James Abiodun Faleke for his support and encouragement to TSG.
In his remarks, Dr Yakasai said he will work towards the success of the APC through TSG for the people to reap the benefit of democracy.
