The Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, on Tuesday, undertook an inspection tour of the Lafia City Stadium to ascertain the level of works at the facility.
Accompanied by Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Mohammed Aliyu Ubandoma, the Governor received briefings from the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Ambassador Lucky Isaac Yargwa, who was accompanied by Management of his Ministry as well as Chairman of Nasarawa United FC, Barrister Isaac Danladi, and Mr. Michael Adamu of Reform Sports West Africa, Contractor handling the project.
This was contained in a statement by Eche Amos, PRO, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
Mr. Michael assured the Governor of completing the stadium works on time.
The project comprises laying of artificial turf on the football field, construction of a hockey pitch and laying of tartan tracks.
